I've loved Jane Austen ever since the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice opened my eyes to the sparkling wit and social satire that are Jane Austen's hallmarks. Since then I've read all the books numerous times, and tried my hand at creating some Austenesque works, both historical and set in contemporary times.
